Today, Run Slick becomes real.
After thousands of miles, multiple formulations, early morning runs, hot long runs, long nights, prototypes that failed (and packaging), prototypes that almost worked - and prototypes that finally held up - Run Slick is officially launching on Tuesday, December 2nd on Kickstarter.

This moment didn’t happen because of a product.
It happened because of a Tribe, the people who where back there helping to build this from the ground up.
Because of friends who ran with me, athletes who tested the earliest versions, family who supported me, advisors who gave me direction, suppliers who believed in what we were building, and a community that kept me going when the process felt impossible.
This launch is a Thank you!

Why Run Slick Exists
Run Slick started with a simple frustration:
I couldn’t find an anti-friction product that lasted a full marathon, didn’t melt off with sweat and heat, and didn’t stain my shirts or gear.
Every race, every long run, I kept thinking:
“There has to be something better.”
So instead of waiting for someone else to fix it, we built it.
But innovation isn’t a straight line - it’s a messy, sweaty, gritty, uncomfortable climb. And Run Slick was no exception.
What we ended up with became more than a product:
It’s a new category - Performance Skin Gear.
Fabric-safe. Sweat-proof. Long-lasting. Clean-glide.
Made for people who move far, fast, and relentlessly.

To the People Who Made This Possible
This list isn’t in order - it’s in gratitude.
To my wife, Ili, for every once of support, patience, grounding, and belief.
To my parents, Claudio and Sylvia, who shaped who I am and encouraged (and challenged) every crazy idea.
To my friend Ali, who wat instrumental in this project, together with Camila, Eva, Pablo, Fluor and Mike - your energy and help pushed this from idea to reality.
To the friends and athletes who literally ran the entire R&D process with me: Matt, Ray, Mason Salvador, Scooter, Nathan, Morgan, Kara, April, Beckie, Thomas, Jack, Johana, Oscar, Daniel and Katie - and the entire Lanier Running Club. You pushed the product harder than any lab could.
To my friend from college Claudio, and my sisters Carla and Trini - thank you for the support and belief through every phase.
To Steve, for your guidance, time and help.
To Hanh, Anna, and Jeff, for your support, feedback, and time.

And James Lawrence - the Iron Cowboy.
Your message replies, your words and your story of grit and keep on going have been fuel during many long miles and long nights.
Finally, to the authors, books, and podcasts that kept me learning and pushing:
you were invisible mentors in this journey.

Where We Go Next
Run Slick is launching December 2nd on Kickstarter.
This is the first chapter - not the final word.
We’re building a brand for people who move with purpose, who chase miles, who find meaning in discomfort, who choose the long way, the steep climb, the early alarm.
And this is just the start.
