Game plan for 2026
2025 was our year to develop, connect, build, test, and define who we are and what Run Slick stands for.
Holy cow — we nailed it.
Now it’s Day 2 of 2026, and instead of just listing tasks, we’re asking a bigger question:
What are the challenges that will define this year?
Yes, we have important work ahead:
Trade shows and races
Retail partnerships to make Run Slick easier to find
Amazon (yup — a big one)
Continued growth of our e-commerce platform
But those are tasks. Not challenges.
So here’s what we are committing to in 2026:
A 48-hour race, targeting at least 100 miles - Merrill’s Mile
A 70.3 Half Ironman (likely Wilmington, NC)
Exhibiting at Hike Expo Colorado in May.
More importantly, we’re proud to be working alongside organizations that inspire us daily:
Conversations underway with Shepherd Center
We’re also collaborating with incredible running communities:
Lanier Running Club, Dahlonega Ultramarathon Association, DC Capital Striders, and Smyrna Run Club.
And yet…
We feel like we’re missing one defining challenge.
Something bold. Something uncomfortable. Something that brings people together.
So we’ll ask you:
👉 What should Run Slick’s 2026 Challenge be? please send us your ideas to [email protected]
Bonus points if it involves community, inclusion, or doing something that hasn’t been done before.
PS: Some of these challenges will be documented end-to-end — the wins, the failures, and everything in between.
